M-audio Sp2 Sustain Pedal Keyboard Sustain Pedals M audio Keyboards and MIDI Shipping Cost :$5.99 Quality: A good looking peal. Stays well on the floor, doesnt slide. However, very poor quality. I had to get another one to become even more sure. It feels like someone decided to create a bicycle again. 2 bolts, which attach pedal to its inner base dont have nuts or any other support. The result - after a week of use, I lost one of them and the pedal got very loose, about to fall off. I had to find another bolts and a special glue to fix it. In 2 weeks, the cord near 1/4 jack broke and the pedal didnt transmit signal anymore. I used it at home only! Same problem with the second one. Poor development of technology! Its got a good feeling though, and its heavy enough to stay in one spot. However, those 2 disadvantages made me get rid of both of them soon. Value: There are better made pedals for that price on the market. Desirability: Looks really appealing! Support: HAvent contacted them yet, but I will:-) Overall: Considering, that you buy things for them to serve you, and not for you to serve them, I wouldnt buy this item again as long as it will have the same problems. M-audio Sp1 Sustain Pedal Keyboard Sustain Pedals M audio Keyboards and MIDI Shipping Cost :$6.99 Quality: Piece o junk, Im sorry to say. I LOVE my M-Audio keyboard, but this pedal is a sorry afterthought. The rubber pad dislodges with use. The little screws on the sides work their way out with use. Aaargh. Ease of Use: Almost impossible to make this thing work. Fuss with it all day and youll find that once in a while it works like a pedal, otherwise you must press with superhuman strength and even then it works only sporadically. Roland Dp2 - Damper Pedal - Black Keyboard Sustain Pedals Roland Keyboards and MIDI Shipping Cost :$5.99 Feature: Compact and easy to carry round. Fits into the pocket of my gig bag easily. Has a sticky bottom so it doesnt slide round. Quality: Pretty solid, hasnt fallen apart, which is helpful. Value: Extremely cheap for a sustain pedal, and does its job well. Desirability: Doesnt look like most sustain pedals which look like pedals on a piano. Its a black box which i think looks better than the traditional piano pedals. Sound: well, it doesnt produce sound, its a pedal fool! Ease of Use: Just plug in and youre away. Support: Havent had to deal with Roland yet. Overall: This will do me fine for a while. If it broke or was lost, id probably buy another, its just so cheap. Retail Price :$20 Review this product |
