Tascams DP02CF combines 8-track CD-quality recording with a Portastudio interface ?€¡° designed for musicians who want to record quickly and have fun. A matched pair of Tascam mic pres features XLR inputs with phantom power for condenser mics and a guitar in for direct recording. Each channel gives you dedicated controls for instant access to fader level, record arm/track mute, pan, effect send, high and low EQ. Theres also an EQ frequency button for finer control over the mix.

There are alot of features, and all useful. Quality: This product will be able to stand up to the test of time, when you pick it up, you dont feel like you are going to break it, because your not, even thought it is a delicate peice of equipment, unless you drop it down a set of stairs, it should be fine Value: This product it extreamly affordable for what you get, i love it and you will too. Desirability: when i saw this product i knew it was the product for me, it is easy to carry around with you, not too heavy, and is durable. Sound: The sound on this machine is amazing, it is very respncive and all the components are very useful, even the internal mic, which is great for recording things like mandolins and ukulele thant cannot plug into the machine driectly, this is an over all perfect machine, there is no downside! Ease of Use: This peice of equipment is very easy to use, the first day i got it i was able to record, bounce, convert to a WAV file, and then export it onto my computer. Support: I havent had to find the support for this product yet, but one problem is that you cannot export the files on this machine to a MAC, only to windows ME, XP, and 2000. Boss Micro Br Digital Recorder Removable Digital Media Multitracks Boss Recording Shipping Cost :$0 Feature: This device has many features, it has alot of guitar effects, and it even has some bass effects. you can change it to the mic mode and record live sound. The drum machine is alright, they have many styles. But the best quality is when you plug your guitar straight into it and you get perfect sound. Quality: Well its plastic so i gave it a 9 but it seems to be well made. The worst quality is probably playing loud on the built in mic. But That is exellent for accustic. Value: yes in my oppinion it is, but to other people it isint because they just dont know how to use it. it came with a caseand a memory card. Desirability: I have it and im glad. Sound: This recorder is really good, i found many ways on how to use it. I also created songs that have better quality than professional recordings. Ease of Use: Once you get the hang of it you can create some awesome songs, and you can transfer them through the chip. You can put the songs online in a matter of minutes. I even make songs while in the car too thats how easy it is. Support: Never needed it. Overall: This is a definate 10, and i made over 150 songs with this and every song is perfect quality. Quality: This is where this device could be improved the most. The build quality is poor and it is made of plastic. Luckily the mics have a metal sort of cage around them. Sound: This sounds good for my purposes, external mics help... Ease of Use: This is not hard to use but the interface could use work... other reviews are correct on this. Boss Br-900cd 8-track Recorder With Cdr And Effects Removable Digital Media Multitracks Boss Recording Shipping Cost :$0 Feature: Everythings great. The only thing that is kind of a shame is that its marketed as an 8-track recorder, but 7 and 8 are essentially mastering tracks. This means that you can only really have 6 tracks. The V-Tracks are great, though. Built-in CD burner works really well, and being able to export the audio files to .wav by USB is also great. Quality: Amazing. Buy this. Value: Amazing value. Talk about bang-fer-buck! Desirability: I went in to look at a KORG system like this. I saw the Boss model and decided "THIS IS MINE." I was in the next day to buy it. Sound: Every recording Ive made has had people asking "what studio did you record this in?" The sound is really crisp and clear. All the effects are amazing. As long as you have a decent mic, the vocal-processing makes your voice sound great. Ease of Use: Simple, professional-sounding recording. Plug and play, essentially. Support: Had to deal with them once. My memory card messed up. It was not their fault. They were pretty helpful... Overall: I am excited about owning this.
