Ease of Use:
My BIG MAJOR COMPLAINT: The clear plastic wheel is rounded around the edges, making it difficult to read the beats/minute number. IT is especially difficult to read the dial in the evenings when playing by lamplight as there is a horrible glare off the plastic. You can even see the glare in the photo in this ad!

Boss Db-60 Dr. Beat Metronome Metronomes Boss Accessories Shipping Cost :$6.99 Feature: Quite a few patterns, stand is good. 1/16s, 1/8s and triplets are very tight. Although, I couldnt get the triplets to work in 1/16s (doubled up from standard 1/8s), let me know if I am missing something here. Quality: Dropped it and it still works, good sign. Value: Reasonable price. Desirability: Nice colors, stand is very useful. Sound: Best when used with Sennheiser HD500 headphones. Tone could use some depth and thickness, but best compared to others I tried. Support: Have not used. Overall: Improved my guitar shredding within the hour!! Honestly, the triplets setting and 1/16s was very useful (would like triplets setting to work doubled up from standard 1/8s, doubling the tempo speed to compensate). I was seeing improvement within the hour. Remeber the best way to use a metronome is to choose a comfortable start tempo where you are playing passages accurately and smoothly and then increase tempo every few minutes until you cant even keep up, but try to push for a few bars just to get the feel of what it will be like when you get to that stage. Boss Db-90 Dr. Beat Metronome Metronomes Boss Accessories Shipping Cost :$6.99 Feature: rhythm coach, built in pitch checker, and loop with 50 memory slots, its great. Quality: Great. Is dropped it twice the day I got it (today) and it still in perfect condition. Just dont mount it on a Gibraltar stand, because the un-threaded part is too long on their stansa, along with tamas. I had to settle with a sound percussion mount (works fine, but not as adjustable as a Gibraltar) Value: Little high in price, but a must for any serious drummer. Desirability: Great. best one out there for a drummer. Sound: pretty loud, I can hear it over my drums when I have headphone in and music playing through the input, sound 2 really cuts through any mix you have. could be a bit louder, though, but its still loud enough Ease of Use: read the manual, or you will not be able to use everything it has to offer, but once you read it, its all second nature to you. Overall: I think this will last me a lifetime. I hope to never have to replace it, but if I do it will be with another db-90.
