M-audio Keystation 61es 61-key Midi Controller 61 key Keyboard Controllers M audio Keyboards and MIDI Shipping Cost :$0 Quality: I bought this to practice piano while on a business trip -- I always have my laptop so, all I need is a controller. This was a far better option than any economy keyboard I could have bought for the price. No regrets at all; easily chose it over the Radium 61 even though the Radium has controller knobs, etc, the keystation is lighter and has a decent keyboard action for a pianist. Perfect for me. Still have to check it on the plane, though -- too big to carry on. Retail Price :$199.95 Review this product |

M-audio Oxygen 61 Usb Midi Keyboard Controller 61 key Keyboard Controllers M audio Keyboards and MIDI Shipping Cost :$0 Feature: You get exactly what you pay for on this keyboard. Assigning parameters is done automatically for some programs and to do it manually takes me all of 1 second. Very simple to use. Also come with Ableton Live, which is a cool looking program but Im able to accomplish anything I want with what I already got. Quality: Feels nice for the most part. For $170 it works. I wasnt expecting it to be made out of titanium or nothing. Value: You get what you pay for definitely. I have owned keyboards that cost $500 and they feel very similar and do exactly the same thing. If youre on somewhat of a budget and want a larger midi controller, then I highly recommend this keyboard. Sound: Doesnt make any sounds of course. Ease of Use: Like I said assigning parameters to the knobs or sliders takes me 2 clicks of the mouse literally. Very easy and simple to use. Retail Price :$249.95 Review this product |

Novation Remote 61sl 61-key Usb Controller Keyboard With Automap 61 key Keyboard Controllers Novation Keyboards and MIDI Shipping Cost :$0 Feature: it has alot of features, jousticks, touch pads, rotarys faders. Quality: It looks nice, but it has that cheap chineese build quality to it. Three days after owning the remote sl the spring poped in the x/y controller. The shuttle controls also get stuck under the facia and the sliders have an inconsistent feel, some are smooth others gritty. The knobs feel as if they could break when jamming in the studio or live. The over all feel is one of flimsy construction. I have had this controler for about a year. It went back to novation to get the spring fixed in the x/y controller. Now it looks like its going back again for the spring releas slider on the bottom for the x/y controler. It is a great concept it just has that novation cheapie feel, just like their supernova line of synths. Great idea cheap construction and poor support. Value: After owning it i think i would have waited for the cme controller to come out where i live. Desirability: i wanted on , im not so sure now. Sound: its a controller keyboard it controlls synths or vst. Ease of Use: the automap feature is nice, but it is still very host dependent; even with automap universal. Updating the remote sls can be a hassle as well. Support: Had to have the controller serviced, it took forever. Overall: great idea poorly built with not so good support and poor documentation.
