Mackie Dfx6 6-channel Mixer With Effects
Stereo Mixers
Mackie
Recording
The new DFX mixers are designed specifically for solo or small performing groups that dont have the luxury of a front-of-house sound technician?those die-hard do-it-yourselfers that manage their own set-up and tear-down while possessing the uncanny ability to simultaneously make music and control their own audio mix. All knobs are color-coded and can be easily identified at a glance.

Feature:
The features it has are good but it could have had a mid EQ with the hi and low. The vocal elimiantor does not work very well. It just muffles the vocals and make the rest of the music sound like its going through a reverb unit. Effects are great and just the ones I need on a regular basis.
Quality:
Very well built. The cable connectors are firm, cables dont just fall out or come out with great ease. Faders are solid too. No wall wart!!! Other companys should follow suit! The effects soud great! The best reverb ever. Chours is smooth and full. Flange and phaser can be used without hearing extra modulation.
Value:
I never would have paid $300 for this. However when it went for $189.95 I said SOLD!
Desirability:
This is not the perfect mixer but it is close. The things I dont like are far out weighed by all the other features, quality and impressive sound. Ive looked for a mixer for over 18 months. Ive compared mixers over and over again and came up with this one. It looks better than all the others too.
Sound:
The sound cant be beat! Very high quality!
Overall:
I plan on having this mixer for a long time and wanted something of a good reputation. One cant go wrong with Mackie. I am a one man band and this fits my needs very well.

Behringer Rx1602 Eurorack Pro 16-channel Mixer Stereo Mixers Behringer Recording Shipping Cost :$0 Feature: Having all stereo inputs is nice, but unfortunately someone decided to give this mixer stepped knobs, so you have a very limited number of possible volume settings with large gaps between each. Also, the aux sends are permanently set to pre-fader and require soldering to change. Quality: Everything looks fine. Value: I suppose that you get what you pay for with this cheap a mixer. Sound: The bass response was noticeably lacking between the audio going into and that coming out of the mixer. The high end was brittle and higher insturments in the mix such as high hat were emphasized that hadnt been going in. Overall, the sound was extremely flat and narrow, suggesting the possibility of crosstalk between the stereo channels. Retail Price :$139.99 Review this product |
