Lots to do here. The category button is very handy.
Quality:
Its definately not built the best. The patch knob came off in my hand first hour. My left hand baby finger keeps changing patches by mistake..... the notches are too easily triggered. The unit gets quite hot over time around the on/off push button and right hand side of keyboard on the top
Value:
considering the sould, i forgive the flimsy plastics.
Desirability:
it is defiately sexy. Turn knobs and amazing things happen over time. Great machine for inspiring instant ideas. Keyboard too small.... can get kinda frustrating
Sound:
has a sound of its own..... very useable grows on you quite nicely. The more you play it the more it inspires.
Ease of Use:
generally simple but can get quite involved the deeper you go. Lots of tweakability. FUN FUN.
Overall:
This is a sweet little MONSTER. Hours of interesting tweaking... and FULL OF FUN FACTOR.

Overall: All I can say is everyones ears are difft so dont take my advice,go in the store and check it out yourself.I personally own a "Digitech Talker" and a "Electrix Warp Factory" which I think are the best(For Vocoder Effects).The Vocal Harmony effects on the VP 550 are pretty good but again gives you a "Vocoder-ish" sound.I was expecting Roland with the technology they have to produce something to give TC Helicon a run for their money.Roland is a very clever company and Im sure they will come up with the Ultimate Digital Vocoder/Harmonizer one day(Hint Hint Roland). Value: worth it Desirability: this is by far the coolest looking synth that i own Sound: this synth is awesome, I own a virus TI and a 25key Novation, Nord Electro, Yamaha Motif ES,Mpc 1000, the Radias fits in with my gear perfectly.
