Feature:
Excellent tuners (Grover Rotomatics - mine has the presentation pearlwood buttons), rosewood back and sides, ebony fretboard, quality electronics, high-end inlay. I like the cutaway, I can get up on the neck. Beautiful and functional.
Quality:
very well made instrument. It appears as rugged as any square shoulder guitar Ive seen. They could have used a more choice quad A spruce top. This one is grainy but it is definitely not a defect.
Value:
To me, the value is beyond the current retail price. I traded a Taylor K14C for this. Cost wasnt an issue for me. The other guitars I had been looking at were priced above this one.
Desirability:
It turns heads. Everywhere weve played It receives comments.
Sound:
Incredible tone. I played over two hundred guitars before I selected this one. Everyone who has heard it says that it is the best sounding guitar theyve ever heard. All I did was pluck the D string while it was hanging on the showroom wall, and I new, this was my Gibson. 30 years ago I had a Dove stolen. This Guitar sounds as good as that one.
Support:
When I purchased it I knew it would need set-up (see ease of use). Where I bought it they wanted to charge for this. I took it to the factory service center and they did the fret work for free. I polished the frets and did the final fine tuning on the saddle.
Overall:
Ill keep this guitar til I die.

Taylor necks are the best. They are easy to play and just feel good. Sound: Has a nice, well-rounded, deep tone when its not plugged in. The expression system does a nice job balancing all the strings, especially when its plugged directly into a P.A. You can really tell the difference when its plugged in next to a Fishman pickup. The people at Taylor did a real nice job on the E.S. Support: Taylor is very responsive. They call back the same day and have useful information. Overall: Ill supplement this guitar. The only thing i would like to have on this guitar is an on-board tuner. But it is a $200 guitar so i got my moneys worth and more! Quality: For $200 this guitar is made perfect! I wonder why this product is more expensive. Well made, the plastic back is sturdy, and the tuner heads are very precise! Value: YES Desirability: it is a very pretty guitar (i have the ruby red)! The pictures do absolutely no justice...If you really want to see it in person before buying it, go to a music store who has this guitar and check it out! Sound: it sounds great! The high ends sound amazing on this $200 beauty. The two problems with this guitar is that it has slight buzzing on the G string if you play really really hard (dont play really really hard) and the other thing is it sounds slightly better when it is plugged in then when it is unplugged. Yeah, this baby is lasting quite a while. Great onboard EQ as well. Quality: Its made well enough, but the frets seem to wear fairly easily. Hadnt been playing mine for more than a few weeks before I noticed fret wear sinking in. Also, the G and high E strings tends to have trouble staying in tune with the rest as you go higher up the fingerboard. Wish it were just a tad louder too. Value: You wont find a better acoustic/electric combo in this price range. Desirability: It isnt the flashiest instrument around, but its worth every penny. You really need to try one out to truely appreciate this wonderful instrument. Sound: Very warm tone, and the EQ system is great. Ive heard and played better, but nothing anywhere near this price range. Support: Never dealt with them. Overall: Definately keeping this one for the long haul.
