Its sounds decent, but nothing compared to the full hd converters or the rme, apogee e.t.c. The converters in the emu 1616 aRE ten times better than theese, and the emu cost less, its crazy .
Ease of Use:
its easy cause its made for newbies.

Native Instruments Audio Kontrol 1 Interface Usb Audio Interfaces Native Instruments Computer Music Shipping Cost :$0 Feature: I like the virtual instruments ( Keyboard collection )and the Guitar Combos ( Specially Vox AC30..) are nice.Im not using the control buttons but maybe for a DJing those could be useful.Ive just tested them and were OK.Not used Cubase4 cause I have SX3, but thats a good option for anyone who doesnt have a DAW software. Quality: Extremely wel made...again, no problems. Value: good price. Desirability: I like the design. Sound: Amazing, specially at this price. I used many sound cards such as,Echo Gina, Yamaha DSP Factory, M-Audio AudioFile...and AK1 is simply better.Clear and fat sound. Ease of Use: Installing was a breeze, and if you want to use the control on the top there will be no problem at all.I cant understand those people complaining about AK1.My computer is a very simple one:Sony VAIO 1.7 Core Dual2 / 1 giga RAM / Win XP, SP2, Cubase SX3 and Sound Forge7.So, no clics, no fade in bug and no noises, as I said AK1 is just a good USB soundcard working perfect in my home studio. Support: didnt have any problem, and I think the websites OK and the available updates are handy. Overall: I, very happy with AK1 and I strongly recomend as a project studio soundcard. Behringer Ucg102 Guitar To Usb Interface Usb Audio Interfaces Behringer Computer Music Shipping Cost :$4.99 Feature: Pretty bare bones. Comes with 3 "Guitar Combos" based on Native Instruments Guitar Rig, but you can only select one to keep. Also, contrary to the documentation you cannot use the Guitar Combo as a VST plug-in to another audio application like the free Audicity tool that is supplied. The software also does not let you route the output to your soundcard/computer speakers. You have to physically connect the headphone output which leads to the high pitched tone problem I metioned in the sound rating I gave it. Quality: The unit itself seems to be made well. Value: Its the least expensive one out there. You get what you pay for. Desirability: Eh. Sound: The unit works well on the input side, but I agree with another reviewer, the input level seems a little low. On the output side, it works OK with headphones, but emits a high pitched tone in the background when plugged into speakers for monitoring without headphones. Thankfully, the recorded sound is fine. Ease of Use: This is fairly easy to use, however the Windows drivers are difficut to uninstall (it makes you physically disconnect ALL of your USB devices then reboot your computer). Support: The jurys still out. I have a request in about the high-pitched tone I get while running it into computer speakers. Well see if they respond.
